2008 Madison Overnight Camp at Valley View

Junior Week:  June 22 - 27; Grades (exiting) 4-6

Junior Week concludes on Friday, June 27 with a cookout of hamburgers & hot dogs (provided by Madison camp staff) at 6pm.  Parents, you don't need to bring anything!  Please indicate the number of family members attending this meal on your camper's application.  We will conclude the evening with a brief awards ceremony.

Senior Week:  June 8 - 13; Grades (exiting) 6-12

Senior week ends for 6th-8th grade students on Thursday, June 12.  We will conclude with a cookout of hamburgers & hot dogs (provided by Madison camp staff).  Parents are encouraged to attend the meal - you don't need to bring anything! (There will be no other "visitor's night" during Sr Week)  Please indicate the number of family members attending on your camper's application.  We will conclude the evening with a brief awards ceremony.  The 9th - 12 th grade students will conclude their week on Friday, June 13 at 6pm (no meal, just a brief thank you from the staff).

Check In:

Check in for both Jr Week and Sr Week will be in the VV Dining Hall between 3:30 and 5pm on Sunday afternoon

What to bring:
  • Bible, pencil/pen, note paper
  • Sleeping bag or bedding
  • Washcloths, towels, toiletries
  • Casual clothes, swimsuit & cover-up
  • Bag for dirty clothes
  • Bottled water or juice (optional)
  • Fishing pole & tackle  (optional)
  • $5 cash for the trip to Jud Jones
What to NOT bring:
  • Radios, MP3 players, TV, cell phone, or any other electronic device that might serve as a distraction
  • Tobacco products, illegal drugs, firearms or knives
  • Oil based suntan lotions
