About our 2008 Madison Summer Camp
at Valley View:
- Jon Micah Richardson, one of Madison's Youth Ministers, will be serving as Executive Director this summer. Jon has directed and planned numerous summer camps over the last 10 years. Phillip Holt, who has served as Assistant Director in years past, will be filling that position again during the Senior Week of camp. Glenn Baucom, a dedicated father, husband, and teacher at East Literature Magnet School in Nashville, will be directing Junior Week and Day Camp. Glenn's wife, Karen, will be co-directing Day Camp. Madison's Children's Minister, Barbie Lanier, will also be assisting Glenn during Junior Week and Day Camp. They are all looking forward to an incredible summer experience with your child.
- Mature, dedicated camp staff are trained to teach the Bible, execute appropriate safety procedures, and give individual attention to campers.
- The swimming pool is supervised by certified life guards.
- A registered nurse is on duty regularly during each session.
- Valley View Camp is inspected and approved by the TN Department of Health and is a member of the National Association of Christian Camps.
