Christian Care Center

The Christian Care Center (CCC) includes the Golden Age Village and the Christian Care Villa – residential facilities for non-smoking seniors, 62 years and older.

The Village--22 one and two bedroom apartments for totally independent residents.

The Villa--a 24 bed, state-licensed "Home for the Aged" which means it is inspected annually by the state health department and the fire department. The Villa meets all fire safety requirements including a sprinkler system, and each room has a pull cord and a push button for residents in emergency situations. The facility is staffed 24/7 with at least one person, and the majority of the time with two.

Residents in The Villa receive many services including:
  • 3 meals a day;
  • Assistance with medications, if necessary;
  • Weekly housekeeping and laundry;
  • Scheduled activities;
  • Assistance with transportation when possible.
There are no health care services or staff at either facility. A nurse evaluates each resident prior to admission to ensure they are capable of independent living. Every other week, someone comes to check the residents’ blood pressures.

While no long term care nursing services are available at either facility, CCC has an agreement with Lakeshore Estates, Inc. which provides access to its nursing facilities for our residents.

The Villa and the Village are located a few blocks from the church on North Dupont. For more information, call 865-7575 or email christiancareinc@bellsouth.net.
