New Classes for Children and Adults

Gettin' Along  (elementary age)
Social skills training for our children.  Teaching about how to make friends and avoid and/or resolve conflicts.

Children Affected by Divorce (elementary age)
A four session class on what children need to know if their family is divorcing or has already broken up.  Beginning on Tuesday, July 1st.

Anger Control Training -- ACT  (elementary age)
A six week curriculum for children who have anger management problems.  Benning on Thursdays when schools start.

TEAM  (Teen Anger Management Education)
A sixteen week curriculum for adolescents with anger issues.

Children Affected by Death (for the entire family)
An ongoing support group that meets twice a month for children and families affected by death.  Beginning in August.

Classes/Counseling for Traumatized Children
This is for children affected by domestic violence.  Ongoing counseling will be provided by volunteers under the supervision of professionals.  Children will be referred by Morning Star Sanctuary and the court system.

Parenting -- The Early Years
Taught by Dr. Frank Scott, this new class will begin on Wednesday nights, August 6th, in the Comfort Zone house.
