Welcome to the Madison Church of Christ Online!

For over 70 years, the Madison Church of Christ has been in the heart of Madison, Tennessee on the corner of Old Hickory Boulevard and Gallatin Road worshiping God and serving Him and the Madison community.

Before the first worship service was ever held on a cold December day in 1934,the heart of this church was established when a homemade sign was hung in the meeting place proclaiming, "Make Love Your Aim."  Since our beginning, love has been the aim of all we do.

The heart of our church is not our building.  It’s the life inside.  It is the people who come to worship, to serve, to learn, to grow, to lift each other up and to be lifted up.  We reach out in service to the community, but most importantly – we are here to glorify God.

No,we’re not perfect and we recognize that. We’re a very diverse group with one great thing in common. We love the Lord and seek to worship and serve Him with all our heart, soul, strength and mind. The Lord is doing great things in our lives and in the life of our community. Thanks for visiting us online. We invite you to join us for worship and see for yourself!

A Special Message:

During last night's (June 22) thunderstorm, a serious accident occurred at our Valley View Christian Camp.  Four adults from the Hermitage Church of Christ were injured when a large tree fell on their camper during the storm, and some of the injuries were serious.

All four are being treated at Vanderbilt Medical Center, and the good news is they are all expected to make a full recovery.  The greatest news is that there was no loss of life, and for that we thank our Heavenly Father.

Please pray for our injured friends from Hermitage and also for the the children who are attending camp this week. Naturally they are shaken by this unusual turn of events, but we believe they will be able to finish their week of camp successfully.

Blessings,
Phil Barnes
